Before you hire our bell tent or teepees, please make sure you understand our Terms and Conditions
DEPOSIT AND BOOKING
Once you submit the booking form, we will email you an invoice.
A $50 non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking to secure your party date and theme. The deposit will be part of the cost of the party.
Whilst the $50 deposit is non-refundable, it can be applied to another party if held within 90 days of the original party date. If you choose to cancel a party for ANY reason, your deposit will not be refunded.
'SIBLEY 450 ULTIMATE' BELL TENT SECURITY BOND
A refundable $50 security bond will need to be paid with your final payment, when hiring the ‘Sibley 450 Ultimate’ Bell Tent only. This will be refunded once the tent is collected in its original condition.
All outstanding balances are due ONE WEEK prior to your party bank deposit. Payments not received within this timeframe will result in cancellation of your party.
RENTAL DELIVERY AND RETURN
We will arrive at an agreed time, at least 1.5 hours, before the start of the party. We require an adult to be present during the entire time it takes us to set up and pack up the equipment. We will arrive at a time agreed upon to return to pack up the items. Free delivery is included for suburbs 30km radius of Onkaparinga Hills. If you live beyond this radius, please contact us to discuss our travel surcharge
PARTY ITEMS DAMAGE, LOST OR STOLEN
Any damages or lost/stolen rental equipment will incur a cost equal to its replacement. Whilst we understand the items can become a little grubby, we reserve the right to determine whether an item has been dirtied enough to warrant extra cleaning. In this event, you will be charged a cleaning fee (for example, if an item is soiled, or drawn on).
All bedding and equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between use.
Before you book your party, please make sure you have enough room and a clean, safe area for kids to stay. We can arrange the teepees and tents in many ways, however it is the client responsibility to measure the room/area to make sure the tents will fit, and that the room is big enough to accommodate the tents and guests.
Our ‘Sibley 450 Ultimate’ Bell Tent needs a minimum 6m squared grassed area to be set up safely. The tent’s measurements are:
Floor space – 16m Squared
Diameter – 4.5m
Height – 275cm
Door Height – 165cm
Our teepees measurements are: 1.5m (H) x 1.2m (W) x 1.2m (D)
Our mattress measurements are: 188cm (L) x 91cm (W) x 10cm (D) (length and width of a standard single mattress)
The business will not be held responsible for a ccidental damage caused by your guests. We assume no responsibility or liability for accidents or damage caused during your party. Additionally, we will not be liable for claims for personal injury or death whilst using our equipment during the hire period. Be aware that some of our items, including our teepees and our string lights, are not recommended for children under the age of 3. It is your responsibility to maintain the safety of all your guests, including those that are aged 3 and under. Moonlit Canvas decision id final in all matters relating to these Terms and Conditions of hire.
Moonlit Canvas is not responsible for allergic reactions and/or any medical ractions from the use of our equipment. Moonlit Canvas is not responsible for allergic reactions that could occur from the items in our snack boxes. It is the responsibility of the client to investigate the allergies of guests attending the party
A non-smoking environment must be provided at all times during the rental. If we arrive to find the house smelling like cigarette smoke, the party will be cancelled without refund. Please do your best to keep your pets away from the teepees and off the mattresses. Under no circumstances are pets allowed inside the bell tent. Shoes and makeup are forbidden inside our teepees and bell tent. Food is to be consumed in our teepees and bell tent at risk to the hirer. That is, if there is staining or soiling to any part of the hired equipment, a cleaning fee will be charged. Prior to set up, please make sure the party area is clean.
Moonlit Canvas reserves the right to use photographs taken at your event in any promotional media controlled by us. However, if you would like an image removed, please contact us immediately via email or Facebook messenger. Feel free to “tag” Moonlit Canvas in any of your social media posts.
A checklist of the rental items and equipment at the time of delivery will be provided and verified by the client and the business. It is the client’s responsibility to return all the items that are checked in perfect condition the next day.
